K-2 Computer Science - Data and Information

This collection includes resources tools and tutorials on how to support K-2 students as they begin their investigations and understanding of the world of data and information processing.  Through both digital and unplugged activities and explorations, students will have opportunities to:

  • Use technology resources to solve problems and communicate thoughts, ideas, or stories in a step-by-step manner
  • Understand how to arrange or sort information into useful order
  • Begin a basic understanding of software is and how it is created to control computer operations
